what is the ideal deck balance?

for example:
20 pokemons
20 trainer cards
20 energys

I haven't played comepetively in YEARS. As a matter of fact, my last set was Neo Destiny, but I htink the same basic ratios should still apply.

I usually shoot for:
25-30 energies
20-25 Pokemon
10-15 trainers

It fluctuates, but thats the basic rule of thumb.

The middle one's right. The other two...not so much. It's more 20/20/20 now, though Energies are sometimes switched for Pokémon or Trainers.
