Defensive Walls

I have the majority of my team figured out, I just have the Defensive Wall slot left open, and I came up with two pokemon that could fit the job (I was also looking at them being psuedohazers)

Skarmory
- Whirlwind
- Spikes
- Roost
- Steel Wing/Aerial Ace

Steelix
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Rest
- Earthquake

Any suggestions/hints/ideas/critisms are welcome

And for Nature and EVs I was thinking of both having an Impish Nature with 252 Def/252 HP/4 Atk EV spread

Go with Skarm.

Tons of resistances, two weaknesses, a good recovery move, shuffling ability > Super high defense with weaknesses to Ground, Fighting, Water, and Fire.

I agree with Key. Skarmory, along with great defence, has other above-average stats. Steelix has awesome defence, but thats really all it has going

skarmory is a better wall, but i what especially love about steelix is ice neutrality/electric resistance and its ability to go up against Ghosts.

You Shoulds Have A Pokemon Such As Bastiodon It Will Be Able To Withstand Many Attacks With The Moveset Iron Defense, Toxic, Double Team, And Protect Or Even Roar To Infect All Your Opponents Pokemon

Bastiodon is not a good wall, it has very very common weaknesses, and will go down in a hit or 2

If Skarmory, I would use Drill Peck for extra power.

One Earthquake or two (or three) from my Torterra should destroy Bastiodon. Hell even Focus Punch if you try to rest.

Fire Attacks are the least of Bastiodon's problems.

Now like I said, Skarmory would be a better choice, but since we're talking about berries, maybe a Wacan berry should be used to protect against electric attacks Skarmory will face. Then again, I'm not entirely good on hold items.
