Question: Deleted Posts

    I can't find the announcement that mentioned it.
    What was the reason specified for showing a field displaying "this post was deleted by X, reason: Y"?
     
    So that people wouldn't accidentally report a double post when in reality, there used to be a post that separated the double post. For example

    You post
    I post
    You post

    If I were to delete my post without that little divider, someone would think you deliberately double posted.
     
    When you delete a post, it shows your name and everything, but it says that the post has been deleted. So I don't think you'd have to worry about that.
