Deviantart Alternatives?

I'm sick and tired of Deviantart constantly having server failures. It literally takes me like six minutes to search for anything.

Are there any sizable alternatives to Deviantart that anyone has come across?

Sadly, I'd have to say no. I've searched for them for the same reason. It's like Youtube used to be: the only option. But since no one else has decided to capitalize on the same website idea, no one has done it better. Except maybe Flickr, but it's not really the same.
