hello all! here are some fake cards i have made, just for a little bit of harmless fun! It's actually Parukia and Diaruga (respectively)! They toom me a full 50 hours (and a bit more) to get these 2 fakes done, and i have saved the PSD files so, if there is any problems, feel free to give me a shout! and let me know, so i change any thing i may have missed, or done incorrectly.!

well, as you may have noticed, there are 4 cards in this small promo set! what are the other 2.. just wait and see. you'll be suprised! - remeber, these cards have NOTHING to do with ex Acanthite, of our (fang and my) next project!

About the cards, I love the art, especially on Diaruga. The attacks and Bodies on both of them are very well thought and show up the characteristics already shown of the Pokémon.

The weaknesses look off centre.
Couple of grammar mistakes. IE.

Parukia:
I don't think there should be a comma before stating what the effect on Benched Pokémon is. And it should read "and 30 damage to each Benched Pokémon (both yours and your opponent's).

Diaruga:
It should be "Resistance", not "Resistence".
In the Body, "apply" shouldn't have the capital letter, and there a should be a full stop after the parenthesis.
And in the attack it should be "Discard all Energy attached to Diaruga."

But they look so awesome I don't really care XD

These are good, yes, but nothing - again I say nothing beats those. And will you stop calling 'em that, it's EX Acanthite...and they're not ALL 'fakemon' you know. Sneasel? Weavile? Tons more besides?

good point double dash! they aren't all fake mon in acanthite.. and.. they are real Acanthite pokemon :P!?! does that count?

Wow! The art is incredible! All the mistakes have been pointed out and I have to rate honestly. 9.5/10 for both. Great job!

One day, just for a change, I'd like to see you offer some constructive comments :)

That would be a lot better than your anti-creativity campaign which is boring already.

It really wouldn't hurt to offer insight into what is and may not be good about the cards. Your comment is ridiculously unspecific, I have no idea if you're saying these cards are good or bad! How is the creator going to know if he is doing anything wrong? ALL people rating a card should discuss the card itself.

His talent doesn't magically decrease if he makes a card with a made up Pokémon. IMO Cascade is the most capable and skilled faker of this generation, and one of the most consistently brilliant in all he produces. INCLUDING his magnificent Acanthite Pokémon which are a pleasure to see.

Im not tryiing to be offensive im just saying the cards lack creatiity and in my honest opinion are very well made. I cant do better so they are good. But what im getting at is they just are not creative the acanthite cards are just stupid idea. However I particularly like these cards. I however find it quite hilarious how you become so defensive over something little such as critisism. King shuckle I shouldnt be the one warned they should. Im just expressing my opinion if you have a problem keep it to yourself id rather not have this result in a flame war.

Me either :) I'm not against you at all. Nor is this flaming and nor will I allow it to become so - this is a perfectly civil argument without childish insults and the like :) I'd just like to see more helpful and constructive comments on the cards.

For one thing you could PM me or post in the EX: Acanthite thread and tell us what exactly is wrong with our cards (something more helpful than it being just that they are fake Pokémon and you simply don't appreciate that). If we knew what you didn't like about them SPECIFICALLY, then we would be able to up our game - our goal is to impress others with our faking and artistic prowess.

Likewise, it'd be nice if you could say what you like about these excellent Diaruga and Parukia cards, because I don't think anyone could glean anything constructive out of your earlier post other than that you don't like fake Pokémon.

It's the comments of others that help us become better fakers, so we all appreciate some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism at times :)

I'm happy to continue this discussion in PM, EX: Acanthite's thread, or even an instant messenger if you're really interested. I really want to know how we can possibly improve - but for now, we'll leave it here and let the thread deviate from Cascade's amazing work no further.
