    Basically, in this thread we go through the National pokedex in order (ie: 001-493), but for each Pokemon we put in a fact about them.

    eg: 025-Pikachu: Did you know, that Pickachu has appeared in every episode of the anime so far?

    I'll start:

    001-Bulbasaur: Did you know, in the anime, Bulbasaur has used 2 moves that it cannot learn in any way - Whirlwind and Dig?
     
    002 - Ivysaur

    Did you know? Bulbasaur all became Ivysaur together in the anime.
     
    003 - Venusaur

    Did you know? Venusaur's skin colour has never been constant throughout the Generations (moving from colours like aqua blue to jungle green then basic blue etc)
     
    004-Squirtle
    (this is lame, but..)
    Did you know? Squirtle is alongside Pikachu as the "Game Mascots" to n00bs! :D
     
    ^ Only thing is Squitle's not #004 =_=' It's...

    004: Charmander

    Did you know? That Charmander is the first single-typed pokemon in the National Pokedex order.

    Did you know..Charizard's species is Flame Pokemon?

    Did you know?
    Wartortle is on the boxart of 2 games! Pokemon Waterblue, only in Japan for the NDS, has it as it's boxcot!

    010: Caterpie

    DYK? That Caterpie's nose has changed colour? In the anime first series, it was shown as a pale colour (like it's belly), but in later series, due to the colour in the games, it was changed to green.
     
    11: Metapod
    DYK? In the Anime, all Metapod can do is sit there!
    Alternitavely, In the games, he can Tackle, String Shot, and Harden! If you keep it Caterpie to level 15, you will learn a new move: Bug Bite, a fourth move to his collection.
     
    No. 12- Butterfree! Did you know that despite running off with a pink Butterfree in the anime, the only alternate color for a shiny Butterfree is Purple?
     
    No. 13 Weedle: Did you know that Weedle's shiny sprite was green in GSC Generation, and in RSE, FRLG and DPPt it's yellow?
     
    No. 14 - Kakuna. Did you know it's shell has a golden color? o:

    Beedrill is one of three Pokemon based off of bees? (Combee and Vespiquen being the others)
     
    16-Pidgey=Did you know that:Pidgey is the first flying pokemon in the pokedex and is also the first flying pokemon in the shows?
     
    17: Pidgeotto
    DYK? nobody has a Pidgeotto, and noone ever has except Ash!
     
    Pidgeot:

    Did you know that pidgeot, despite its name, is based more on a bird of prey than a pidgeon?
