4th Gen Did you really beat the E4

Houndoom
Empoleon
Leafeon
Luxray
and a bunch of others I can't recall, maybe Kadabra.

EDIT: Bellessom was in there too, but was WEAK.

I tried to beat it with my Dialga, but then decided against it afte a few tries. I finally beat it with my proper team, and if eveolutionary trades don't count, I beat it fairly.

Gengar
Golem
Gyarados
Luxray
Machamp
Rapidash
 
No I didn't beat them fairly in Platinum. I used only strong Pokémon I traded from my Pearl because I wanted to get finished soon ( hurried a bit after the Galactic plot was over...best part of the story) I did however beat them fairly in Pearl and enjoyed it a lot.
 
Well I had orgin giritina on my first time against the elite four (Mostly to wall the other trainer while I heal my fainted pokemon... friggin garchomp.) After that I did it legitly with my current team

10 revives and 10 potions and it's a piece of cake for my level 47 team.
 
Well, kinda. My Giratina was used for stalling so I could heal my pokemon, and sometimes attacked
 
Kinda. I got a Feebas (level 1) from a friend... does that count as trading from other games? D: It... did come knowing Surf, Waterfall, and Ice Beam, though. -w-;;
...But everything else I got over the course of the game! :'D And I beat Diamond's E4 with those restrictions!
 
My only ubers/legends were Giratina who sucked
and MeSpirit for spamming Yawn on SpiritTomb O.o

But i can beat it without legends/ubers
 
Yeah, I did, But I used a ridiculous amount of revives, potions/ Max restores. Managed to pull it off with 3 pokemon

-Luxray
-Espeon
-Umbreon

My perfect Team of three <3 When I beat Cynthia the only pokemon I had left standing after the fight, was my Umbreon with 20 HP left XD
 
nope. my strongest then was girantina. i cheated :(
 
Oh ya i forgot to mention

Used like 30 Revives
Used like 50 200 hp Potions (Forgot what theyre called)
Did i mention i had a team full of level 50's?

Under your definition of "fair" -- No, I didn't. I had a Leafeon and Charizard that I obtained via trade early on in the game. Plus I used Dialga a couple of times.

I didn't cheat or anything, and it was still a pretty tough fight. I consider my fight with them "fair," and if anything, they had the advantage since most of their Pokemon were a lot higher than mine.
 
Umm yea in my Pearl I use Empoleon, Drifblim, Luxray and Staraptor and in Platinum I used those 4 plus Gengar and Rapidash

I beat mine "Fairly"
But I kinda cheated in a way by EV training them a bit. (With whatever was left at that point)
 
Giratina is very useful or the E4. High Defense+Awesome Attacks= WIN.
Also, the three lake pokemon are terrible against the E4, for future reference.
