Hi everyone,
I was wondering how I might go about turning my pet-project Pokemon game into a dual screen one. I was on the Essentials wiki which is what gave me the idea as I'm a fan of the amount of info you can squeeze on screen using it.
As the project game I'm developing is using Gen 6/7 assets, I wanted to be able to have the top screen wider than the bottom one to emulate how it's done on the 3DS. What core sections would I need to edit?
I've included a couple of images (not using previously mentioned assets) of Essentials 16.2 at 800x480 resolution which is twice that used by the top 3DS screen which shows how it could be used to make Gen 6/7 sprites look nice in game by creating room for the realigning of images used in battle etc.
Any help and advice is appreciated. Thanks.
