2nd Gen diffrence between blue and red and gold and silver

    i know there are diffrent versions, but what are the diffrence? i know there are pokemon diffrence? but is there something else? like diffrent items and such??
     
    Well, Gold takes place in Johto AND Kanto, where red/blue only took place in Kanto.
    The raising center has a bonus "breeding center" where you can hatch eggs; there are more HMs; you can earn 16 badges instead of 8; there are five elite four members. The graphics and colors are better; pkmn can hold items. There are different attacks. Some pokemon will evolve only if they like you. You can get two more evolutions for Eevee, which evolve into different pkmn depending on the time of the day. You have day and night.....

    I could go on and on. Fact is, Gold/Silver is a LOT different from red/blue.

    Not to mention some attacks working differently. Like wrap and bind for example, they no longer render your opponent completely incapable of doing anything. The critical hit ratio of high critical hit ratio moves has also been decreased. And with new tms come new moves and of course we shouldn't forget about egg moves now should we?

    That's all (that hasn't been mentioned before) that I can think of.
     
    There are dark pokemon right? I think bite in Gold version got changed to a dark attack instead of normal?
     
    Certain moves
    1.)Faint attack
    2.)all steel types(of course)
    3.)more healing moves
    4.)Protect

    i heard there's a glitch in Blue, where you can go into Johto, kanto were jotho, we made way before hoenn.

    Thats a rumor. The only glichy place you can go to in Pokemon Blue is going into Glich city that is really Fusica City but all glichy like.
