What do you guys{and girls} think?

Are the new Pokemon becoming more lame, or is it just me?

The new Pokemon in Black/White kinda strike me as something out of digimon,
and I HATE digimon.

Sure, maybe Reshiririam/{i forgot the other one's name} are kinda cool, but I feel like the Pokemon were FAR better in the earlier games.

I actually agree with you that alot of the new Pokemon seem to give of a more digimon feel to them. I don't hate digmon as you do, however I do feel that gen V is lacking in what makes Pokemon, Pokemon...if that actually makes any sense to anyone. Its rather hard to explain what I mean.

I know whenever I've brought this up in conversation past people would try to claim I have nostgial glasses on or something to that extent, but I'm not so sure that is the case. While it is a possibility considering as the generations go on I find myself liking less and less of the Pokemon that come out of them. At the same time though I those pokemon from the gens I did not like did still feel as though they were Pokemon to me, which as already stated is not the case for alot of gen five. Perhaps I'm just getting old and out of touch, but I hardless want to admit to that, not like I ever to a "break" from Pokemon. I've been a fan and have stay so for I believe 13 years now. I can't really see time suddenly creepy up on me and passing me to the extent I was left behind and out of touch.

But I'm rambling now, aren't I? Point is I agree majority of gen five as it stand right now for me, feel as though its lacking that magic the other gens have had...perhaps when I get an opportunity to play the english release this will change... will here's hoping anyways,

The fifth gen is my favourite batch of new Pokémon since the third gen, and I have a hard time deciding which of them is my favourite.

So, no because people say this every time a new group of Pokémon is released as a consequence of the design team changing every time they develop a new game. It's the most common response to new Pokémon next to the discussion that comes out of English vs Japanese names.


(It's also the most subjective thing to discuss about Pokémon)
