Well, first off, I want to greet everyone. I've been playing pokemon for a very long time, but probably not as much as the hard core NES fans who have over four hundred games. My name's Alex and i'm from Canada. I like throwing in a few jokes here and there in conversations, but, if I was a pokemon, I would be a pokemon with a serious nature. My favorite pokemon is, believe it or not, Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard. I just finished platinum for the second, if not third time and i've already caught a shiny meditite and transfered my ditto, my Bulbasaur and a couple of, I suppose, rare pokemons that you can't get everywhere such as Hitmonlee, Kabuto and Aerodactyl. Right now, I restarted my firered and i'm going to migrate charmander and after, i'll do the same for squirtle. But enough with my plans, because i'm starting to feel like doctor Willy from Megaman.

I'm looking mainly for friends to play online with because most of my friends gave up on Pokemon or have a horrible router which prevents them from battling with me. I think i'm going to find friends here, since i'm used to forums and how to behave in conversations. Anyhow, I don't own action replay and i'm not interested in cheating my way through pokemon because I find that you can't improve that way and that's one of the main things I seek in Pokemon games. I've seen clever minds use tricks like the Rattata level 1 killing legendaries level 100 and win battles. It's part of the game, thus, it's fair. It's one of my goals to reach a point where i'm intelligent enough to bring the game further than using fire blast on a grass type pokemon to kill it in a single hit.

Anyways, that's about it for my presentation. I hope i'll get to chat with the community and perhaps battle and trade with a few of you. On this note, have a great day everyone. ^^

Oh well, there's lots of people around here that can battle, both via wifi and actually on the computer. ;) Competitive Battling Center is what you'll want - in the subforum, Tournaments and Events, you can find people who battle via wifi in about four different threads, so you can join one of the more active leagues and find battles all the time there. However, if you wish to take it a step further and battle on the computer, you could alternatively download Pokemon Online (details can be found within that main forum) and the people who post in the main forum part of CBC generally use PO. So you have two options there for your battling needs! But yeah, there's lots of ways to kill grass types other than Fire Blast! ...there's also u-turn. :3; Oh right, and if you want battling tips, you could also consider posting "rate my team" threads in either CBC or in-game team help, depending on what you need more help with.
