do master balls take the fun out of it?

    It seems every time there is a final pokemon, you knw the end all be all pokemon from the special event? Maybe that battle with mew two? It seems I always win with my trump card, that master ball at the last slot of my ball bag. Do master balls take the fun out of the game?
     
    Not for me, but I'm lazy. Really, I've never put much thought to this. I don't feel guilty or anything, though, because you only get one Masterball. It's kinda climatic for me. :x
     
    It doesn't if you only use the Master Ball as a last resort XD
     
    only if you use a hack it does. other than that they're fine to me.
     
    Well, the "final" Pokemon in each game is generally incredibly hard to reach. Using Mewtwo as the example, you've got to beat Team Rocket, beat the Elite Four, and *then* spelunk to the bottom of Cerulean Cave; no easy tasks on that list. I think it's a nice send-off to "end" the game to be able to rejoice in laughter as the big-strong Pokemon is turned into a small sphere of electric helplessness.
     
    Heck no, Master Balls are the friggin greatest. If I had a million Master Balls instead of just one I would catch so many more Pokemon.

    exactlley, I love RPG's, when your out of potions, your first 5 pokemon are down and its time for to unleash the furry of your trump! (mine was a lvl 70 something nidoking!) you hit him wiht your nice little weak attacks, then bamb with a ultra ball!!!!
    But I get your guy's points and they do make me think they are fare! Im just so angry at hackers because icant use the trade system in pearl because Im affraid that I will get some ileagal pokemon...
