Do poke stops have predetermined egg hatchings?

I have been trying to test whether the eggs coming from the same poke stops would have the same yield. Got curious when I had my 2nd Chansey which I exactly knew where it came. The 1st one came from the same city but not necessarily the same pokestop.

I have been tracking my sources of 2k (Magikarp/Geodude/Starters) and any 10k since predominantly I have a bunch of 5k's.

There is one stop that gave a 2k Squirtle egg followed by a Jigglypuff hatch a while ago.

The second poke stop subject previously gave a 2k geodude egg and right now is in the process of hatching.

I'd like to know if there are other player experiences in researching / testing egg hatching.

Most likely it is completely random and all pokestops are the same. It is also possible that any 5K egg is just a 5K egg. It is not determined what is going to hatch from it until it is incubated. When it hatches, the dice are rolled and it suddenly becomes a particular species. That would be the easiest way to program it, anyway.

But it's certainly possible the eggs from different pokestops are different. Not sure why Niantic would go to the trouble, but they are clever folks!

So my 2nd poke stop test subject hatched caterpie (geodude from the 1st one).

My theory may very well be wrong as it is appearing totally random at the moment.

ive hatched over 720 eggs so far. for a while, i kept the track of where i was picking up what eggs and stuff but stopped doing so after sorta realizing that it was all random.
