Do ya' believe in the all so justifying "Karma"?

    Karma is is the concept of "action" or "deed" in Indian religions understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause & effect

    The philosophical explanation of karma can differ slightly between traditions, but the general concept is basically the same. Through the law of karma, the effects of all deeds actively create past, present, and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to him/her and others.(In case some of you don't know what it is...)

    All living creatures are responsible for their karma — their actions and the effects of their actions

    For me, I personally believe in Karma. Its happened to me a LOT.

    So, do you believe in the "eye for an eye" philosophy?
     
    I'll believe in it if I get hit by a bus the next time I go out yeah I believe in karma, I've gotten lucky with some stuff and not so lucky with other stuff
     
    I believe in Karma and I have plenty of reasons to believe in it!

    This one time I stole a $2 coin from someone, the next day I had a $5 note and I was rolling around on the oval and it fell out of my pocket, I lost it:(

    Another one was when I was pushing my friend into a massive water puddle, I got him in and then a few minutes later I tripped over and chipped my tooth!
     
    After watching My Name is Earl... I believed in Karma so much, I feared it. I wonder what is to be done at school. Karma gets very annoying when you don't get it.
     
    I never get good Karma, seriously I once gave this guy my lunch order (Cost me 8 bucks because I got other stuff as well!) and then he was all like thanks and stuff, and then I was walking along and I got a footy to the face?
     
    Eh, I dont know. I do believe that bad things will happen to bad people, just as good things happen to good people but this is not always true. I know of one person that never catches a break, if luck is real, then someone certainly forgot to give him any. He's one of the nicest people I've ever met too but for some reason, nothing he does ever goes right.

    Now on the other hand, I know of a person who doesn't try at anything, nor is he very nice, yet for some reason, he seems to get everything he wants. Somehow, the Karma system has some sort of glitch.
     
    I totally believe in karma. It was why PC was down/not working one night some time ago. :D ... according to me, of course.
     
    I remember talking about Karma in the Daily Chat-Chit a little while ago... Let's see if this get's as interesting as that conversation did.

    Basically, Karma rules my entire existence. I have no real religion and therefore rely on my understanding of how the universe works in order to make it through my day-to-day life. Karma is the great equalizer; it is the force that keeps Yin and Yang balanced. It is my belief that this system of balance works in ways we may never see or understand.

    Even though we may envy people who have more than us, let's say materialistically, you can bet your "bottom dollar" that you have something they don't. Perhaps they value happiness over their material wealth, and they have never experienced it because they are so jaded to the finer things in life. However, you sit over there with the love of your life and are quite content. Perhaps they are really envious of you. Everything is equal in the end.

    Balance is the force that keeps the universe from completely destroying itself. Karma is the system in which balance is enforced.

    Hmm... I hope that made some sense. I feel as though I didn't quite articulate myself that well.

    I hate Karma so bad, I always end up with bad karma no matter what I do!

    Karma is just an illusion. When something bad happens to you, you think "What could I have done to deserve this?" but doing something bad to someone else doesn't exactly invoke the question "What retribution does my foul action warrant?"

    That's what I believe. After all, I've gotten away with tons of terrible stuff...
    Or have I? Only time will tell. That's the beauty of being agnostic, amirite?

    Oh, but I agree that karma is a wonderful system - that is, after 8th Grade Global Studies class.
    Keeps people in check; builds a better society through fear of punishment and satisfaction in good deeds.

    But remember, good karma is better than bad karma, but no karma is better than both. You're not supposed to go out of your way to help people so your good karma increases... You're supposed to do it selflessly, not expecting anything in return.

    Or at least, that's how it's supposed to work >_o
     
    Well, I think I believe in Karma.

    Except, I do good deeds and am an all around nice guy, but nothing good happens to me X_X

    But, I believe in the phrase "Eye for an Eye, Tooth for a Tooth"

    Unless any of you are actually Hindu, Jain, Buddhist or Sikh - then the concept of karma is just another religion and the results of Petwac (Population of events that which appear coincedental).

    I believe in Karma, that the people who perform good and righteous deeds are rewarded and the people who cause harm to others are punished. I know they're pretty strong words but that's what I follow.

    Meh, I believe in it a LITTLE I guess. Though not enough to rule my entire existence or control my life in any way, I still do kind of believe in it~ Lol maybe it's that I believe in it, but I just don't care because I'm not the kind of person who does bad things on a daily basis. xD *dies*

    I believe in Karma, it's got me lot's of times

    Like, I've insulted someones fat, then I got a stomachache for the rest of the day. It sucked...

    I have really bad Karma... like seriously...

    Anyway, in my opinion, karma is real, you would understand why I think it's real if Karma has ever got you
