Do you EV train or just level up as much as possible?

    Do you EV train or just level up your pokmon as much as possible?
     
    It all depends on what purpose I'll be using the Pokémon for. I just level up in-game and when completing the Pokédex. If I want to them for Competitive Play, I'll IV breed them and EV train them. Unless I specifically want the Pokémon for online battling, I don't see the point in going through all of that torture.
