4th Gen Do you think it is possible that you can customize your charcter in this game?

Customizing characters for me would be too much in one game, especially being a remake like this. Seeing how the game is right now with just a couple shots and videos I can tell that there won't be any character customization in the game. Though, you never know what will wait ahead in the future.
 
Yeah, customization isn't something I really see coming to any of the main metagames as they always have a preset character for us to play as. Like stated above, the customization more works out for the Wii and games like PBR [Pokémon Battle Revolution].

Well on Bulbapedia it said there would be features in this game present in no other main series game, so that is where I thought of it.
 
It was said that, I myself saw that as well. Though, it might not have been referring to character customizations or else something like that might have been the first thing unleashed to the public as they pictured Gold in New Bark Town with Chikorita by his side. Plus, they basically have the characters with their new art design as well and I'm sure they wouldn't waste that time if they were to put a customization feature into the game.

Yeah, but Nintendo has surprised us and disappointed us many times. (This won't disappoint me though XD)
 
That is true, about the surprisements, I just think that customizations will not make a strong appearance in the remake. If they had to do it, then it might be in a later Generation where modern technology becomes more advanced and memory of the game cartridges becomes more expanded to hold that amount of different variations. Keep in mind, character customization sounds cool, but it does take up space of memory because of all the different options you'll have when working on your character's look.

Yeah, I bet, but it could be just like simple little things like jacket type and shorts or jeans. (maybe even the hat).

Well it could be like a prototype sort of thing, but still it is unlikely. (I said that in my first post).
 
It's unlikely for now, but as time progresses on, and if Pokémon is bringing in teh market money they need then they'll think of something new to bring in more in the future.
 
Not for THIS particular game but it is defiantly a great idea for the future. It would be a new, fun feature t hat would draw more people. Not for these re-makes but I could see it for future generation games no doubt.
 
I think it would be a great idea to implement in a future game, but I doubt they would do it in this game especially since it is a remake. I've thought about this a lot and it is one of the features I'd like to see most actually.

Don't say bad things to the new character " the girl " The girl is really cute dont you think? Ontopic. About the cuztomization of your character. I think that's really good but as flash and others said it's too much :3 because there are many features now.
 
You can't customize the player, as we have seen in the videos, you
will only play as gold or the new girl. Maybe in the near future they
will let you customize.
