Does a Lucky Egg make that much of a difference in training?

I got one from a wild chancey and I've been using it to train my Lucario and I really don't notice that much of a change in the amount of experiance he gets.

I believe that it's 1.5x experience. For example, if a Pokémon gives 2000 exp. normally, would give 3000 with Lucky Egg.

Yeah, you gain x1.5 more experience like the trade bonus. Either you have been battling wild Pokemon which don't give much experience anyway or your Lucario is at a very high level is probaby the cause of why you didn't notice the difference.

Having both the trade bonus and the Lucky Egg at the same time is very awesome. You will notice more of a difference when you have those 2.

Don't you get a bonus from pal paking a pokemon too?

Yeah i have a Pikachu with a lucky Egg Used on the elite 4

Result from level 45 to level 60 (exp share btw , Cant beat elite 4 with Pikachu)

You do because the OT and ID are that of another trainers despite you recatching those Pokemon.

With an exp. increase of x1.5, training goes pretty smoothly for me when I give a Pokemon the Lucky Egg. I use the one that I got in XD all the time in Diamond version all the time.

Lucky Egg made things a whole lot easier to train Pokemon especially Pokemon that are yours and they have a EXP base of 1,600,000 for ex: Drifblim and Crawdaunt (it was a pain but I did it)
