    if with the virtual console release of G and S if they are doing the 2ds bundle thing like that did with r,y and b?

    that was awesome lol
     
    I haven't heard about a bundle so far, so I don't think they're doing one. Instead, it seems like they're releasing a Poke Ball 2DS XL and a Pikachu 2DS XL (latter is Japan-only, I believe), but it doesn't look like they come with G/S pre-installed.

    I don't have a N2DSXL, so I can't say, but people seem happy with them. It depends on what system you have now, and if you feel like you want or need an upgrade. It also depends on whether you care about the 3D effect or not (since the 2DSXL obviously doesn't have that).

    I have a standard 3DS XL, and I don't really feel like moving stuff to a new system, so I'll be keeping my existing system as long as it holds out. If I were to replace my system, I personally would probably get a N3DSXL, even though I don't use the 3D that much, but a 2DSXL would probably be my second choice.
     
    cool thank you. if you get a new system do you lose your pokebank and everyhting on that system and all the purchases download virtual console games?

    You should be able to move everything via the system transfer process. I've never done that before, though, so I don't know how it works, but Nintendo has instructions on their website, and if you have issues, you should be able to call them to move your account and game access to the new system. (You can't have your games on two systems, though, so you'll have to either leave them on the old system or move them to the new system [and wipe them from the old system].
     
    cool makes sense. i have the special virtual blue 2ds and my old 3ds broke so wanting a new one. but not sure which one to get my pokemon bank on. I thin iw ould mainly use the new ds. Dont even know what account setup i used on my special blue ds
     
    Closest you have got to that is the fancy themes you can get for pre-purchasing the games in the eShop. It's not much but I think it's just as cool because so many people can get it :)

    Anyway as this topic has deviated a bit...
