Does Pokemon Platinum or Soul Silver work with PBR?

Are you only resticted with using Pearl or Diamond versions to connect your pokemon to Pokemon Battle Revoultion?

Also is any 3DS capable with connecting with the game?

I want top buy the game but I'm only limited to Soul Silver and Platinum as my Gen IV DS games. Far as I know I think only Pearl and Diamond work with PBR, but please let me know if you have been successful in connecting with Gen IV games other than D&P. (Also a 3DS)

PBR is compatible with all gen IV games, however Shaymin, Giratina, and Rotom will not show up in different formes. Rotom will lose its forme's stat gains and special moves. And Spiky-Eared Pichu will be a regular Pichu. As for 3DS connectivity, you'll just have to try to find out I guess. The 3DS functions as a DS when trading or using things like Entralink with gen IV games, so I assume it will be able to be used with PBR. Next time, please use the Q&A thread in the Spin-Offs forum, since this is about PBR which is a spin off.
