well, I felt ashamed at VGC 10 cuz everybody was "eevee training" (EV training) and i had no clue what they were talking about...

now however im prepared! and i cleared all EVs for you guys to rate it and give me the best EVs
here goes... got the idea from mah friend ari who used to use this team with no EVs XD

    so...
MY LEADS (VGC IS DOUBLE BATTLE)

    *bulbagarden.net image removed* .............................................
[PokeCommunity.com] Double battle RMT (planning to use VGC 11)

    Slaking@life orb
    Adamant
    252atk|????????
    Slack off/Return
    Rock climb
    Giga impact
    Thrash/Return

I make my slaking the way i want her, and she now sweeps with thrash or Rock Climb, and has slack off for recovery, its only counters are Ghost types... Thrash needs to go however Rock climb can stay due to its STABed power, and Giga Impact is OHKO with a power of around 150x1.5=225 +233=458 damage, and thats a lot in LV. 50 ALL BATTLES.

    Gengar@choice scarf
    no nature yet
    252spd|?????????
    SKILL SWAP
    Destiny bond
    ??????????
    ??????????

Gengar is to use Skill Swap on Slaking, then switch out. no real purpose other than that... Slaking needs Gengar to help him sweep cuz traunt SUCKS... i have destiny bond just in case Gengar has to be sent out again, he can score a KO. I have him SUPER SPEEDED so he can for-sure use skill swap, if skill swap fails, the team fails

    THE OTHERS...
[PokeCommunity.com] Double battle RMT (planning to use VGC 11)

    Flygon@Leftovers
    Lonely
    252spd|??????????????
    ???????????????
    EQ
    Fissure(VGC)Dragon claw (Wifi and Shoddy)
    Outrage

Flygon is used by me as a physical sweeper, however i had to get dragon pulse or draco meteor in there so i have one special move XD. If flygon could learn a good dragon Phisical move, plz tell me. Fissure is in just for a REALLY QUICK KO if i need to

[PokeCommunity.com] Double battle RMT (planning to use VGC 11)

    Toxicroak@Life orb? Black sludge?
    Adamant
    252atk|???????????
    Poison Jab
    Sucker Punch
    Cross chop/Brick Break
    Swords dance

    Basic Sweeper, can destroy many.

    So my strategy:

    Slaking and Gengar

    Gengar used skill swap!

    Slaking used Rock climb-foe fainted

other foe set up entry hazards

    Gengar switch out to Toxicroak/Flygon

    SWEEPSWEEPSWEEPSWEEPSWEEP

    you get it right?

Flygon can learn two good Dragon physical moves, which are Outrage and Dragon Claw.

I don't really know about double battles, but replace Fissure as it's bad with its horribly horrible accuracy, don't use Choice Scarf on Gengar as it locks you into Skill Swap which means you have to switch and your opponent takes advantage of it and use Return > Giga Impact / Thrash / Rock Climb on Slaking, Return is powerful than all of them and get rid of the other two as well, even two same type moves are bad until they serve a different purpose (eg Pursuit and Crunch, Crunch and Sucker Punch, Ice Fang and Ice Shard) and you're using three.

redsaber, we can't really rate this for VGC 11, because we won't know if the new VGC will be for Black and White and not 4th gen games. Also we won't know if it will be 2 vs. 2 or 3 vs. 3.

So yeah, wait for more info before you decide on a team.

GENGAR SWITCHES OUT AFTER HE USES SKILL SWAP

Okay, well if you really want a good double battle team, don't use the Skill-Swap + Slaking combination.

    Why?

Because it's so predictable and easy to beat! Anyone who isn't a noob at 2vs2 is prepared to beat it.

Most people lead with a Pokemon that knows Fake Out and will use it to Flinch Slaking, making it unable to attack.
Meanwhile, their other lead will use this opportunity to set up. This can range from Trick Room to Rain Dance to Sunny Day or simply a stat boosting move like Dragon Dance.

Whatever happens, you'll be at a disadvantage because your opponents will be faster more more powerful during the second turn and can easily KO Slaking and the rest of your team.

You need to rethink your team and find a strategy that actually work in double battles.

    Try one of the following:

Trick Room - A team full of slow but powerful Pokemon that can sweep using Trick Room
Rain Dance - Set up a Rain Dance in order to sweep
Sunny Day - Set up a Sunny Day in order to sweep
Hail - Leading with Abomasnow and taking advantage of Hail's effects
Discharge - Using Discharge paired with Ground/Motor Drive/Volt Absorb Pokemon

I was coming here to say this. Twenty bucks says it's 3v3. :rambo:

My slaking strategy is pretty much the same but with mismagus, it works well but i use mismagus for a reason, role play, its a good ide to have role play so that your levetating gost can get its levetate back and get rid of traunt once and for all and follow up with earthquake from slacking. you also might want to consider bulk up to make you stronger for when you start doing real sweeping, earthquake, sucker punch to deal with faster pokemon and to attack beffore fake out wich could ruin your plan.

    eg.
turn 1: Mismagus uses skill swap
slacking uses bulk up (or return if there is a flying pokemon or a pokemon with levetate, and sucker punch on anything that threatens to use fake out)

turn 2: mismagus is slacking off
    slacking repeats turn 1

turn 3: mismagus uses role play and gets back levetate
slacking uses earthquake to kill both oponents

turn 4 and up: mismagus can now atack and weaken any pokemon that might be able to survive earthquake
    slacking continues to use earthquake

over all i sugest you dont use this strategy until you learn the move sets of all pokemon comonly used in competetive

giving gengar explosion and slaking protect instead of giga impact would be a good combo that way after the swap gengar can go boom.

This of course is assuming Black and white do not change 11 vgc ( I know it will)

why not run something to stop skarm from running over your entire team.

    Strategy goes like this
Gengar uses skill swap on slaking while it EQs
gengar switches next turn while slaking bulk ups or attacks.

i usually run this move set when using slaking
    protect
    Earthquake/fire punch/bulk up
    return
    slack off
its not infallible by any means but pairs well with gengar. (BEWARE running the earthquake means you will be unable to damage opposing mismagious/gengar)

Here is the gengar set that runs the focus sash.
    explosion
    shadow ball
    will-o-wisp/focus blast
    skill swap
    This gengar needs some explaining
Gengar works better than mismagious in two ways 1. gengar can learn explosion 2. gengar is slightly faster which sometimes matters.
Will-o-wisp will hamper opponents physical leads, such as opposing slaking or electivire

The slaking set allows your lead to be immune to obvious explosion leads.

Toxicroak seems to be too slow for double battle play and much too fragile.

The thing about double battling is that it is usually executing a strategy, not out thinking your opponents as the options for double battling are quite large compared to single battles. There really is no "Sets" for pokemon, as coverage in movesets can complimented by your partner and the addition of another pokemon makes it nearly impossible to wall meaning that double battles are usually pretty original and fast no real stall involved.
To read more about double battling go here

This is of course assuming you actually want to use Slaking and skill swap gengar which as aragorn said, is very predictable.
However this strategy at least throws a monkey wrench into the opposing leads.
