DP 90 Episode Discussion (Japanese Spoilers)

[STEELIXMANIAC]

Summary: While Ash and friends are training at the Summer School, they are taught how to deal with Ghost-Type Pokémon, should they ever run into them. They are then paired up to find a hidden treasure. While searching, Conway has a run-in with a Dusknoir.

Also, there appears to be some freaky girl who has psychic-like powers or something. She can levitate. A ghost, perhaps?

Not really. There's a preview up on YouTube actually. I believe we can speculate a little about what's going to happen, so it'll not be a boring wait.

Obviously, we will head for review of the episode when it has aired and when we have seen it of course.

I appreciate people using "my" way XD Well, at least I'm sure I was the first on this forum to use lists haha (I didn't steal the idea from someone else, I'm just lazy XD) But it's also much easier and quicker to read and get your thoughs accross haha. So maybe it's better than huge paragraphs. But whatever way you prefer, I suppose heh.

I think this is the first time that ending theme has been used since Jouto. I think it was during the Jouto era that this ending theme dominated, Kantou had another one iirc.

does that ending theme have a name from the games? "route xx" or something like that?.

Onto the episode, it was good with the M10 rehash, however sub/dub is quite needed for eps like this with some kind of historical background. Didn't really understand why that girl was there.

AH HAH I FIGURED IT OUT!

Kohei said something to make Hikari throw a pillow at him, that had to do with cards. There was one word I couldn't figure out what it was!
By deduction of this episode how Satoshi said the same word, Aoi comes to help, and when Takeshi says it the little boys comes up. It's a partner!

He was suggesting that they be partners. Which makes sense as it seems he's head over heels for Hikari.

That was just bothering me. xD

Okay on the the episode thoughs.

The Best Time...I think the three classes are competing. Those with the best time to get to the end get the best points. The start at different spots according to the first picture.

-Look! More classmates besides Aoi!
-..More people that like Hikari. Is Kohei jealous?
-UHUGHEW! (I have no clue how to write out the sound I just made.) O_O THE MUSCLES!
-Does that girls arms look freakishly long?...And don't ghosts NOT come out in the day?
-Poor Kohei. Thus was the only reason he didn't bother Hikari to be a partner.
-I like the Girl assistant. Don't ask why. xD She seems like an interesting person. The girl that came up to her too! What's with these likeable side characters?
-Takeshi just pulled a bag outta his ass. xD You carry so much Pokemon Food don'tcha?

:O Undoubtely, the coolest episode and creepiest since Sabrina's gym battle! Is the ghost girl freaky or what, is she a Pokemon or a human (and looks like little creepy like Sabrina's doll)? I was like: 0_0 ! she's trying to get the cool glasses kid off the cliff! Brock and Duskior! LOL! I think they will cut that out in the dub. XD. Dawn's new partner looks like he should be in a gym, instead of school. YAY at the Haunter and Gastly, It has been a while since I saw the original Pokemon in the show, :D *adds Diamond episode 90 to fave Pokemon episode*

Not much is known about the girl or about her motive for draging people into an other dimension. Same goes for Duskior for helping the others.

The girl was really creepy, especially when it was trying to suck Aoi into the portal.

Best part of the episode would be Ash and Aoi doing Ash's gym badge pose together:
Ash: I've got the program medal! *does his regular gym badge pose*
Aoi: That's a cool pose
Ash: Let's do it together
Ash and Aoi: I've got the program medal! *does Ash regular gym badge pose*

Really, that cracked me up.

-So Professor Rowan doesn't actually teach the classes, but is more of a principal figure.

-The kid who asked to be Brock's partner is so shy. I liked how Brock said he'd protect him.

-Aww at Conway's 'who, me?' look.

-Damn, Conway looks freaky when hypnotised. And he has dark brown eyes by the looks of things.

-I thought those kids begging to be Jessie's partner scene was cute.

-The Gastly/Haunter/Gengar trio looked adorable after Ash scolds Pikachu for attacking them.

-The girl with the navy top doesn't have a partner. The female assistant mentions that can't be right, as there are 12 students in the class, so someone's missing. Conway had been following the ghost for a few hours by then, and during that time, no-one noticed he was missing? Wha?

-Brock certainly followed through on his promise to protect his partner.

-Speaking of promises, Keisuke (is that his name?) breaks his to Dawn.

-Dawn complains she's alone, and then she sees Conway. "He's alone?"

-How dare you, little ghost girl! Trying to lead Conway off a cliff! Good thing Dusknoir grabbed his hand, leading to this scene...

Conway: *looks down, screams*
*Dusnoir pulls him up*
Conway: *gasps for breath* How scary...
*looks up at Dusknoir and screams*
Conway: Scary! *passes out*

-Dawn arrives on the scene and demands to know what Dusknoir did to Conway. Dusknoir's 'it wasn't me, I swear' pose was funny.

-Huh, Conway has no idea what a Dusknoir is. Wasn't he a walking Pokédex last episode?

-The 'Dex entry on Dusknoir is worrisome, especially after what happened. And Conway freaks out again.

-Heh heh, Meowth being scared by a real Banette. It was also nice that' Jessie's partner picked him up.

-So when the campus was being built, ruins were accidently disturbed. Hmm...

-LOL at Ash and Aoi doing Ash's 'I got a badge pose'.

-Phew, lucky Dusknoir recovered in time to save Ash and Aoi.

-I would've liked to know more about that ghost.

-Did I mishear, or does Rowan's female assistant talk with a Kansai accent?

-It's only now Conway realises his partner was a ghost (and subsequently turns blue with shock)? 0_o Poor thing's had enough excitement for one night.

-And the next day, he's back to his creepy self. That was quick.
