Dragonite/Cherrim

    Final got onto a comp that could run the TCGO and redeemed all the codes. With some trades from my roommate, i was able to throw together a deck. I started with Dragonite PF since it was the only playset we had that he wasn't using. It runs on Electric and Grass so i added the only Exs that would work in this deck, 2x Thundurus Ex. Since Thundurus is a Plasma pokemon i also added in Deoxys Ex for bonus damage. Though i still needed more pokemon. Threw in Cherrims since we had a 2-2 line anyway and why not heal 40 each turn. Threw in a bunch of trainer cards and energy and out popped a deck i worked like 20 mins on, and i was really surprised at how well it works. Thundurus is my early attacker and Dragonite cleans up after it gets charged up. Then each turn it can either hit for 60 and prevent item cards or hit for 90 and heal 30 hp from itself. And with the requirement of grass energy, cherrims heal for 20 each per turn. Allow dragonite to heal off 70 damage each turn. Toss in a pokemon center and switches, and now it can heal for 90 hp per turn if needed. With a max of 150 hp its quite hard to kill.

    1x Deoxys Ex (Will change to Virizion Ex when Plasma Blast releases for status effect immunity)

    After Virzion Ex comes out. I feel like Dragonite will be incredibly scary. Immune to status effects, can block item cards, and can heal up to 90 hp per turn. Once 1 gets charged up i feel like it will take some work to take it out since you cant catcher it away and you cant use switch.

    I feel like the Major threats to this deck are things that can 1 hit Dragonite or Dragon types. I fought against my roommates Dragoncall/Altaria deck and was able to destroy it. Catchered out his early Swablu and OHKO with Thundurus. Then have Thundurus go to town on them while backed up with Cherrims to stay healthy and prevent energy stacking with Thunderous Noise and charge dragonite with Raiden Knuckles after finding a plasma badge. Then once things start to overwhelm Thundurus. Dragonite swoops in for OHKOs Deafen powered up by Deoxys and prevents any item shenanigans.

    Any thoughts on this possibly amazing deck?
