Last deck i posted was fortune ladies a year ago, and A LOT of the gameplay has changed since then. I created this deck because i love the way it runs and it reminds me of legend of dragoon from the ps1 days. winged beasts tuning with dragon tuners to synchro dragunity knights, please tell its NOT a reference to dragoons. and besides, dragons are OP.

    Monsters x 15
    Dragunity Phalanx - 3
    Dragunity Aklys - 2
    Dragunity Brandistock - 1
    Dragunity Legionnaire - 3
    Dragunity Dux - 3
    Speed Bird - 1
    Dragunity Arma Leyvaten - 2

Phalanx is the main engine of the deck, making it possible for all the synchro/xyz summon. Aklys for field control, and brandistock to go for the win. Legionnaire provides more field control. Dux is what makes it possible, going into Vajrayana and level 8 synchro in one turn. Speed bird is interesting tech choice because if its destroyed by battle, i get to special summon 2 level 2 monsters from my graveyard, easily making gachi gachi or helping for red nova dragon (also stall). Arma leyvaten is big boss monster which helps revive tuners or go for the win. also helps with discarding for dragon's ravine which i will explain below.

    Spells x 18
    Dragon Ravine - 3
    Cards of Consonance - 3
    Pot of Duality - 2
    Mystical Space Typhoon - 2
    Pot of Avarice - 1
    Monster Reborn - 1
    Mind Control - 1
    Book of Moon - 1
    Heavy Storm - 1
    Dark Hole - 1
    Foolish Burial - 1
    Terraforming - 1

Dragon Ravine so helps the deck run faster, getting rid of what i don't want in my hand to the graveyard, getting what i want from the deck, or just milling to make the deck smaller. Cards of Consonance helps out with unwanted tuners in my hand for +2. Pot of Duality actually works well with a deck that primarily focuses on special summoning, i mostly combo into normal summoning legionnaire to clear the field with aklys. rest are staple.

    Traps x 10
    Bottomless Trap Hole - 2
Call of the Haunted - 2
    Limit Reverse - 1
    Starlight Road - 1
    Torrential Tribute - 1
    Trap Dustshoot - 1
    Solemn Judgement - 1

Straightforward i think, bth is cheaper solemn warning, call of the haunted at 2 is understandable, with so much back row destruction nowadays. limit reverse was at 2, but i cut it to 1 since call of the haunted is better. Starlight road is WONDERFUL this format with heavy storm and dark hole to combat against, and i only need 1 anyways. trap dustshoot is also wonderful this format because most players won't set full back rows anymore, allowing me to see their hand and hopefully put a monster back into the deck.

    Extra deck x 15
    Number 39: Utopia - 1
    Number 17: Leviathan Dragon - 2
    Gachi Gachi Gantetsu - 1
    Ancient Fairy Dragon - 1
    Iron Chain Dragon - 1
    Vortex the Whirlwind - 1
    Stardust Dragon - 2
    Red Dragon Archfiend - 2
    Dragunity Knight Vajrayana - 2
    Dragunity Knight Trident - 1
    Red Nova Dragon - 1

Pretty much staple, im missing the trishula and trident dragion. working on packing both. xyz work well too in this deck, esp gachi and number 17.

    Side deck x 14
    Whirlwind Weasel - 2
    Shield Wing - 2
    Saambell the Summoner - 1
    Star Changer - 1
    Inferno Reckless Summon - 1
    Stamping Destruction - 1
    Field Barrier - 1
    Xyz Effect - 1
    Dragon's Rage - 1
Seven Tools of the Bandit - 2

I like siding in whirlwind weasel, i just have to somehow protect it for when i go for the win. Shield wing is awesome, except for glads, be great for everything else when i need protection.

overall this deck is able to contend with top decks that are out there. i would like suggestions on how to improve overall. or at least here some interesting combos i could pull off
