Scope Lens is a hax item and its banned :o

It looks fine, but just make sure Dugtrio can't get it trapped... which really requires good anticipation to use Drapion like that

Overall Life Orb IS better, but if you dont like risking your Drapion on a wall like Steelix, use Expert Belt.

Life orb it is then, I don't have the Drapion actually yet, but i'm going to get one soon. btw, is Ice Fang better then Knock Off?

Knock Off is mainly used to take out Blisseys food :P (Leftovers :o) or the Choice Items on powerful pokes like Lucario. Drapion does have the decent defense to hold off one Close Combat on Lucario.

Ice Fang... Ice type attacks are so commonly used because of the Dragons that like running over teams, but since many Dragons are able to outrun this poor guy, naw :(

I would definately put toxic spikes in there somewhere, deadly poison is a very nice addition.
