I put a pokemon to sleep several days ago. I signed up at GL, entered my code, did everything I was supposed to. How long is it supposed to take to start dreaming?

    Or...

Do you have to be playing the game in order for it to start dreaming?

It should start to dream about 5 minutes or less after you put it to sleep with the Game Sync (the middle option in the c-gear at the bottom of the screen of your DS). If you put it to sleep a few days ago, theoretically it should've started dreaming assuming you left your DS on all this time. o_O I'm really not sure how you managed to put your Pokemon to sleep without it dreaming unless you shut off the game while it was in the middle of falling asleep. Either way, go back to game sync and connect to wifi, wake your Pokemon up if it'll let you and put it back to sleep then wait a few minutes and it should start dreaming, it could take a while, but... I'm still not sure how you managed to put it to sleep a few days ago without it dreaming.

But yeah, try putting it to sleep again and if that fails, ask again in quick questions. If nobody can come up with anything, then maybe try Nintendo's support section considering it involves wifi, since it might be a problem with your wifi, or... maybe your game is glitched. Though to me it sounds like you skipped the game sync part of it. :(
