Hola! My area has some decent spots for this game, and I plan to make text entries and also photography entries. I love taking pictures when I'm out and about and I also love Pokemon, so this game allows me to do both - I thought I'd share! Some of them will be normal photos (occasionally), but most will have Pokemon in them, because I adore the AR feature.

If you follow me on Twitter, you might have already seen most of these. From here on out, I'll probably post images on Twitter first and then eventually update my journal on here whenever I have desktop time.

In other news, I'm spending way too much time on this intro post, and the CSS isn't even all that nice. :| So moving right along! I've been playing GO since it released in iOS, and that's way too long to do individual entries to catch up at this point, so I'll post some summarized entry here in a few minutes to kick this off. Time to steal images from my Twitter.​

July - September 24th, 2016​

Ok, so! I've done quite a few park visits during the first couple of months of this game. I still don't get to play as often as some people, but my friends and I usually plan outings to parks or squares when we do play. Currently, I'm working on getting Charmander candy from the buddy system, and hatching two eggs - I really want Growlithe or Pikachu, PLEASE, GO. ;__;

To summarize some encounters over time:

That Horsea sure did pop up in a bad place. :|

That time that I found out the local graveyard was a PokeStop:


That place has cars parked around it way more often now, but the gate's entry way is surrounded by tall grass and I hope people that go all the way just for Pokemon are paying the proper respects - and maybe loading up on bug spray!

+ a creepy looking trail that was a Vulpix nest if you went far enough in. We didn't make it all the way..

I think that will do for now. Anything else will go into a newer post. I can't wait until my level is high enough to run into tougher Pokemon, but for now I hope people enjoy seeing what I found so far.

Ooh cute little Bulbasaur! I really need to go and catch more of those, tbh.

That's actually one of the only Bulbasuar I've ever come across.
