4th Gen DS Wi-Fi Functions?

    I'm buying it today. Can anyone tell me what it is about? How does it work? What does it do? How does it connect?
     
    Wifi allows you to trade Pokemon with anyone over the internet, and to battle anyone over the internet whose friend code you have. All you need is wireless internet, or a special DS attachment that will hook up to an internet cable. You go to the Pokemon diamond/peal title screen, and go to Nintendo WFC Settings. You can then set up the internet connection, enabling you to trade and battle with people from all over the world.
     
    Theres a DS attachment that allows cable internet to be used?
    How much does it cost...?

    Sweet... I don't have WiFi, i don't want to buy a router, and i dunno if the USB thing will work well...
     
    The USB wifi connector works rather well they are about $35 but worth it, definately cheaper than going out and buying a router just to get the wifi. The thing that sucks about wifi is if you want to chat with anyone you have to have their friend code. But the GTS (Global Trading Station) is pretty neat. If they'd just fix the whole chat thing it'd be a lot better though.
