4th Gen E4 strategy

what team should i use against the E4 in D/P. Im gettin both versions so i want to be ready so i can raise the types i need? Thanks.

im still not sure on which types i should raise. i just hope i pick the right pokemon to use. Help me out here. Thanks.

it doesnt matter what type of pokemon you train, because as long as your pokemon has a higher level than the elite fours' pokemon, you can overwhelm them and dont have to worry about strategy.
so choose your favorite pokemon and make sure their moves(which are more important) cover a wide range of elements.
the elite fours have:
1)bug
2)ground
3)fire
4)psychic
5)mixed
linky to the elites' pokemons.

fire, water, and grass type is important in this elite four challenge it seems. with WiFi, everyone will be willing to trade all the starters, so if you manage to do this, you will do well in the elite four. you really need a fighting type as well, and the monkey starter will help for this.

the elite four member that'll be a challenge is a the psychic. i suggest the penguin evo and a strong normal type would be helpful, but for the psychic/steel, you have the monkey.

for the champion, an electric with good sp defense and speed will be heplful vs half of the pokemon. the penguin evo may also come in handy here.
