    Gym Leaders:​
    This is a simple challenge that makes everyday PokeCommunity users gym leaders! Just sign up to be a Gym Leader and get your team ready! The gyms are assigned to a specific type, all seventeen of them.
    First come, first serve if you wanna be a Gym Leader, so if you want to be one, sign up already, and before you know it, you'll be handing out moves and badges everywhere over WiFi!

    Regular Players:​
    Regular players (Gym challengers) can sign up until the list is full. Only 15 challengers can take part in the challenge, so get a move on!

    Signing Up:
    Both Gym Leaders and Gym challengers must their in-game name, friend code, and PokeCommunity username (example below) before entering the challenge. If these are not provided, you will not be able to join the Gym Challenge. Your team must also be PM'd to Everyone Esplode Noaw before entering, this way rule six may be enforced.

    Rules:

    1. No cheats
    2. All battles levels must be rounded to LV 100.
    3. Any Pokemon is allowed on a team, but only one *smogon.com link removed* can be in a team
    4. There are up to 6 Pokemon allowed on a team.
    5. All Three Pokemon on a Gym Leader's may team be the Leader's respective type, the others may be different types. Though, a leader may have more than three of their types.
    6. No team changing, or you will be booted from the challenge
    7. Generation four games only (HGSS/D/P/Pt)
    8. Both Gym Leader and Gym Challenger must confirm win/loss.

    If you sign up to be a gym leader, do all your pokemon need to be your respective type? (volkner has octillery, etc..) can just 3 of them be your type?

    @Nimblethumbs: Yes, all Gym Leaders must have their respective type in all of their Pokemon. This means a Dark or Ice leader may use Wealive as it is a Dark/Ice Pokemon.

    you see EEN no one really want to be a gym leader b/c you cant when only useing ur gym type it almost impossible
    so you need to set them to 3 of the type or something

    I agree and disagree at the same time.

    Since no one is allowed to change their Pokemon's, there may be advantages and disadvantages on a Gym Leader and a Trainer. But since there are Pokemon's who have dual types, I think it's not that difficult.
     
    Why not allow 4 of the same type (Because thats standard in most monotype teams) and allow team switches. It would be more fun IMO and would sway me to sign as water leader.
     
    Due to popular demand, I have changed the rule. All Gym Leaders must have only 3 Pokemon of their respective types.

    Example: Electric Leader - Luxray, Jolteon, Raichu, Muk, and Deoxys-A.
