when you go to pokecommunity.com, than you see the picture with red, blue, yellow, green, gold, silver and crystal...

where are ruby and sapphire?
could they come in the picture too or will that be too much work?

and maybe if the picture will be changed, i'd say lets put D and P in too...

That's a picture from the manga, in the Gold/Silver/Crystal arc, so Ruby, Sapphire and other D/P characters aren't in there ^^

They will never be there.

That's because the pic from above is from the last page of volume 15. That's where the GSC saga ends. So Ruby and Sapphire aren't included.

And if they would include them, maybe they could put it above the title or something?
