3rd Gen EJKNFJKNFJK I got my first shiny!

After 967 hours I have finally gotten my first shiny in leaf green. It's a spearow :D so happy I'm going to hunt some more.
Crazy part is I named him MJ and my wife told he died around the same time. Yesterday apparently. Reincarnation?

Transfer him to RSE and do some Pokemon Contests with him. Then we'll see if he's really MJ.
