3rd Gen Emerald and Fire Red Question

    Can someone help me?
    When i am going to trade between my fire red and my emerald i register my pokemon example: moltres(fire red) and combusken(emerald)and i say that i want it for a fire pokemon...When i am going to give the fire pokemon there is quote that says "You can't trade with that trainer now"
    But from the other game im not even moving, doing anything....
     
    have you beaten the elite 4 in both games?
     
    God, this is so simple.

    Just get the Rupy and Sapphire and return it to the one guy in one island. You still have 5+ hours of storyline left before you can trade with Emerald.
     
    I just don't have passed the elite 4 in emerald and I already have the ruby and the sapphire and in emerald I have 6 badges
     
    Finish the Elite 4 and trade between the 2 games, In FR, If you already finished the game...complete the Sevii I sland Quest...
