[Script] enemy trainer using a team identical to the player's

    i want to make a trainer who has a team identical to the player's but I have no idea where to start or what functions to use. is it even possible to do this in a rom hack?
     
    It's definitely possible, Liquid Crystal has it. Take a look at this thread.
    If you find the script offset, you can take a look at how they have done it and figure it out from there.
    Apparently the game cannot be opened in AdvanceMap so you have to find the offset in a hex editor.
     
    I opened the Liquid Crystal ROM; the offset is BBA1CA:


    I assume that this part of the script is the Mirror Battle:
