erasing songs off of an iPod

okay, I wasnt really that sure where I should put this, so it made sense to put it here. if it doesnt belong here, mods/admins/staff, feel free to move it (not like you have a choice anyway XD)

Okay, so I just got an iPod mini today. I've had songs on iTunes saved on it, and somehow they got onto my iPod. I dont want some of the songs on it. How do I delete them?

I have an I-pod shuffle, they shouldn't be too different. If I want to remove a song I just delete it. It doesn't get deleted from the library just the i-pod. Or if you want it on your i-pod but don't want to listen to it untick the box next to the song you don't want.
