every once in a while i get this code when trying to view the fanfictinal lounge, and other threads.

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 2621440) (tried to allocate 311296 bytes) in /home/pokecomm/public_html/includes/class_postbit.php(297) : eval()'d code on line 234
It is not my browser, because I have tried several different browsers. i have emptied my cache as well, but the problem still persists.

remember this is only once in a while, and if i refresh the page several times then it usually goes though. this also happens when i try to post to any thread.

No, it's not your browser. Everyone has been getting them lately.
It's the server that PokéCommunity is hosted on. It's not your computer at all. :P

I'm hoping that the server maintenance tomorrow might fix a few problems, but the fact is PC is getting too many members for it's server!
Why do server's have to be so expensive? *sigh*

yes its the load.. also, I've noticed that we are getting a lot more traffic lately and especially today.. server loads just do not want to go down.. *sigh*

Hopefully this will be resolved in the near future.

So the problem is that pc doesn't have a big enough broadwith. *sigh* Can you get more?

it has enough bandwidth.. PC doesn't have enough resources available to it on the server.. php / mysql take a big toll on the avail RAM and processing power.. while we have 4 processors, we only have 4GB of ram and that is where we're getting hurt. Its especially bad during times that the server is doing its own house keeping.. (i.e. processing logs, software updates, running stats, etc.)

Oh. Isn't 4 GB of ram the most you can currently get? I am not familiar with severs but aren't they basically a bunch of computer hooked together.
