Do you mean playing a game made with Pokemon Essentials or making a game with Pokemon Essentials?
Playing a game should be fine as long as you do not distribute or link to the game you are playing.
Making a game is a massive gray area that can quickly turn against you if it is mentioned that you plan on releasing or giving out whatever game you are trying to make.
