Since my other fan fic was going horribly, I have decided to write a good story. This novel is based on some of the anger and sadness in my life now. Enjoy!
Dusk, the time where everything goes silent, where creatures from hell come out of hiding in order to rule the night once again.

With these creatures on the loose, everything could become out of balance in an instant.
That's why the government of America created a secret squad team to protect the innocent people from the beings of the unknown.
No one has known how these beings got to the world, but they were there, and demanded respect.
One disturbance in their population, and there would be an all out war, humanity against hell's creatures.
If there was a war, then the world would be shrouded in darkness forever.
The darkness would be called, Eternal Nocturne.
There would be no animals left on the planet, no vegetation, nothing.

If Eternal Nocturne came the beings would grow too powerful for the whole world combined to take out.
There would be no escape from it, except if someone found the essence of light to cover the lands in brightness again.
The chances of that happening were quite slim though, since the essence of light was strictly guarded by the demons of hell.
The demons of hell were extremely tall, sometimes reaching 87 feet in height, powerful enough to throw a skyscraper from America to China, vicious, and they wielded flaming swords that were made in the Fiery Pit of Hades.
There was also something about the demons that no one knew.
The demons loved the Earth.
Every day starts out the same, don't you think?
Yeah, that's what I thought too until after lunch at school today.
Let me fill you in on what happened before lunch, since it might be important later.
My name is Will by the way; I'm 14 and have one heck of a crush on the prettiest girl in my school.
 Like that really matters anymore.
So I started my day like I usually do, get up, get a shower, eat breakfast, brush my teeth, and start walking to school.
Thankfully we live close to the school because it can get pretty cold here in July.
This morning was pretty warm actually, and I had to enjoy it because now it's blazing hot outside.
I got to school, got stuff out of my locker, and went to my first class.
I'm always the first student to class, so I usually have an iPod to listen to music while I wait for everyone else to show up.
The teacher's name is Ms. Hope and she is one of the nicest teachers you could ever get.
She doesn't care if you play games or listen to music before class because she's just cool like that.
Anyway, I was listening to the radio station 98.9 the rock, because I just felt like it.
It might be the last time I hear that station, which is kind of depressing.
So I was listening to 98.9 when my best friend Steve dropped into the chair beside me.
He had a weird look on his face so I ripped the earphones out and shoved the iPod in my backpack.
"Have you heard the news?" Steve asked me.
"No, what news are you talking about?" I replied.
"Well it's sort of a secret, and I'm not sure if I am supposed to tell you or not." Steve remarked, biting his lip.
"Be back in a second." He suddenly said.
 Okay, something else about me.
 I hate not knowing stuff.
So what do I do when my best friend is keeping a secret from me?
I follow him and try to find out.
I'm a pretty shifty person and that makes me able to sneak places without being seen by people I don't want to be seen by.
So I started following Steve quietly, hiding behind the pieces of wall that jut out from the sides of the hall, separating lockers into rows of 20 or so.
I was kind of surprised when Steve started heading toward the pack of popular girls that always hang out whenever they can, wherever they can.
I was really starting to get nervous when Steve started speaking to the friend of the Kristin, the prettiest girl in my school.
I was about to ask him what the hell he thought he was doing when Kristin joined her friend and confirmed something that Steve had asked.
Steve just started to head back to the classroom, trying not to stumble.
Apparently the news had freaked Steve out or something, because he never stumbles.
I saw him coming and he looked like he was going to throw-up at the news.
Either this was something that would go horribly wrong, or it was something that was unbelievable.
In the end, it would probably start out as unbelievable, and then go horribly wrong, like all things do in my life.
 Just like today.
I got back to class with barely any time to spare, when Steve entered the room right behind me.
"Where were you man?" Steve asked, curious.
Crap. He had me cornered and I had to do some quick thinking.
"I needed to go get a drink from the water fountain." I said, trying to sound convincing.
"I have something to tell you Will, and it's kind of important." Steve said uneasily.
"What do you have to tell me that's so important?" I demanded.
Just then Kristin entered the room with her friend Jen, and sat down in a seat two rows in front of me and Steve.
"So what's so important Steve?" I asked again.
"Nothing, you'll find out soon enough." Steve stated plainly with a grin on his face.
I was starting to get a little bit nervous when he said that with that kind of grin.
The lesson started just when I was about to ask Steve what the heck was happening.
I guess it would have to wait until later, maybe after lunch.
I was really trying to pay attention to what Ms. Hope was teaching about, but it was really tough trying to concentrate with Steve grinning, and Kristin looking turning around and looking at me every so often.
At one point during the lesson Kristin nudged Jen and gave her a note. She then whispered something that I couldn't hear, but Jen nodded like she understood.
Jen reached behind her and gave the note to some new boy in the class. Jen whispered something to him that I still couldn't here and the new kid passed the note to me.
I opened it up and here's what it said:
Dear Will,
I've been debating whether to tell you this for a while now, and I've decided that it would be good to do so.
You know the news that Steve has been refusing to tell you about?
Yeah, it's pretty important news.
So meet me in the library next class when we're given free time. Okay?
Love,
Kristin
I looked back up from the note I was reading and saw Kristin staring at me; her cheeks tinted a faint red.
That was something you didn't see every day.
There had better be a good explanation for this, because I like my free time.
I usually either catch up on homework or talk to Steve during free time.
I had a pretty good feeling that it was going to be a good explanation, mainly because the most popular girl in school had sent me a note saying to meet her in the library during free time.
So the class was finished like it usually is, the teacher giving us some homework, and saying if we need help to come see her.
My next class was Independent Study, usually called I.S. for short.
I.S. usually trades off for gym every other day.
So I got everything I needed for I.S. and headed towards the classroom.
On my way there, I noticed Steve talking to Kristin again.
Kristin said something that made Steve burst out laughing, and after she blushed a deep red, smacked him upside the head.
Steve hobbled away, clutching his face and laughing at the same time.
Everything was becoming way too weird for my liking today.
Usually, when fortune smiles you in the face, it gives you luck for a short time.
That's exactly happened today, I got good luck, and then everything turned into a living nightmare.
So I hurried to my next class because the bell was almost about to ring, and I got there with just moments to spare.
I sat down randomly in one of the seats near the back, because the teacher can see everything you're doing up in the front of the class.
Steve and Kristin entered the room at almost the exact same time.
Just as Steve was about to plop his supplies and homework down on the desk next to me, Kristin shoved him out of the way and sat down quickly.
Steve looked pretty steamed at what Kristin did, but she gave him her death glare and he sat down behind me.
When I.S. started, the teacher told us that only two people could go to the library at the same time.
Joy, now I may not be able to get my big moment with Kristin, but I might finish the rest of my homework.
When the teacher, Mr. Coles asked if anyone would like to go to the library, Kristin shot her hand up.
I raised my hand a bit slower then hers.
He immediately jotted our names down on the library slip and gave it to us.
"Be sure to be back five minutes before class ends." He told us.
"We will Mr. Coles!" Kristin replied brightly.
The walk to the library was a bit odd, since I wasn't very popular and I've never talked to Kristin before.
"Follow me once we reach the library okay Will?" Kristin asked me.
"Okay, I guess." I replied blandly.
I really had no clue what to say to her, since I am not that good at talking to girls that I like.
We reached the library and Kristin dropped the slip into the basket that was sitting on the check-out counter.
I followed her just like she told me into the way back of the library.
She opened the door to the janitor's basement area.
"I thought students weren't allowed back here." I asked her.
It's true; students were not allowed in the janitor's basement because a kid once went in there and accidently drank some drain-o in a cup and died.
"I don't care, get in here now." Kristin ordered.
We went down the stairs into the basement when Kristin cleared her voice.
"Now you may be wondering why I asked you to meet me here, and I have a pretty good reason for it if I do say so myself." Kristin stated confidently.
"It's kind of weird with me being so popular and you being so middle-class, but I think this could probably work if we try hard enough." Kristin told me.
Now I was nervous. The most popular girl in school just doesn't say this stuff to you, and when she does, it's usually a joke or a prank.

"Yeah, stop trying to prank me." I told her angrily.
"All the popular kids do this to lower classes, they pull horribly mean jokes on them just to either make themselves look good in front of others, or to make themselves feel powerful." I was practically shouting.
"Calm down Will or I'm going to change my mind and decide that you're a jerk!" Kristin shouted angrily.
I decided to just walk away from this mess, when Kristin shoved me to the ground.
"No, you're not walking away from this!" She said, obviously pissed off.
"Yeah, says who?" I replied with a sneer.
"Just let me tell you what I want to tell you, and then you can go and leave this opportunity behind." Kristin told me.
"Fine, but if this is one of those jokes, I swear to God that I will make you the laughing stock of the whole school." I told her confidently.
"What an empty threat." She muttered.
"So what do you want to tell me that's so important?" I demanded.
"Well, I kind of like you Will. You're really smart and good looking." Kristin stated earnestly.
"I'm sure you do." I said with sarcasm in my voice.
"I'm not kidding Will; I am not like the other popular kids." Kristin told me.
Everything was going somewhat well, she looked like she was telling the truth, so I was starting to believe her.
That's when things started going downhill, and that's when we heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
"Hurry, hide Kristin!" I shouted at her.
