Would a Pokemon that was EV trained from an egg be more powerful than a Pokemon which has used berries to get rid of exsisting EV points and was then EV trained?

If you knew EXACTLY what the EV points were in both cases, it would depend only on the IV values.

I would think that it would be stronger if it were hatched from an egg because right off the bat you are losing 5 levels you could have used for EV training. I would also think that it would be harder to find out the IVs for it since it isnt level 1. I'm still trying to learn about EVs and IVs, please correct anything I said if it doesent make any sense.

It's actually easier to work out your IVs at higher levels (since your stats are divided by your current level).

I've just seen that alot of people hatch eggs and choose a few post them here with there IVs, Do the IVs really ever change or are they set in stone? Also, is there a certain level that most people start EV training, or do most start at Level 1?

The IVs are set in stone. You can EV train at any level, use the EXP share at first (it gives EVs) and then when it's strong enough start picking off low level Pokemon with it.

Or you could send out your pokemon with Macho Brace/Power Item and then switch it to a stronger pokemon for the kill, therefore the pokemon your training gets boosted EVs and won't take as long

Learn exactly what EVs and IVs are before asking things like this.

Erasing EVs and then adding new EVs doesn't make the Pokemon any weaker than it would have been if you wouldn't have had to erase any of them.

Don't be so harsh, just a simple question was asked.

Thank you for the help everybody. And once again thanks to Sims for his mature manner.
