EV training doubt

    Hey guys
    well as it says on the title i have a question about EV trainig
    I am pretty much a noob on EV training so I investigated a little bit and learned tha basics and all that stuff, however I have a question.
    If a pokemon grows up level and gains extra exp from last battle I cant start the training? please answer as soon as possible. If i am not able I can trade some g4 pokemon for rare candies so see you later guys
     
    It's better to start training without any prior training. For example, if you caught a wild Petilil at level 14, if you wanna EV it, it's best to start right then, without exposing it to battles that would yield EVs in a stat you don't want it to get EVs in, such as fighting a Lillipup and getting attack EVs. So if you've already battled with something, you can still EV it sure, but it won't be at its full potential because you might have gotten some of the wrong EVs. You can correct that with EV reducing berries. There is an EV training guide in the Black and White sections' FAQ that helped me a ton, and I think it'll make more sense than I can.
