Ev training

    Ok so i got all my pokemon breeded with the natures and egg moves i wanted. I still cant decide on my 6th pokemon tho, anyway here is my question.

    I just finished Ev training my Slaking. I started ev training it at level 43 maybe i started to late but w/e i dont care all the much. I was gonna train it in HP/speed/Attack. Try to max HP out and split the rest between the other 2.

    I gave it 5 HP-up's and it wouldnt take anymore not sure why.

    So i battled enough pokemon to where my attack went up by accident about 20 or so because the ev guide here says Bibarel's do +2 HP but instead did attack so i kinda messed up now. Anyway I got his attack up 20 or so and his HP up about 20 or so also i didnt really keep 100% track on it. I tried to get his speed up but when i went up a level it didnt go up so i guess i used all 510 points, to check i talked to to lady in that city and she gave me a ribbon.

    Anyway how do i find out what his stats will be at level 100 ?.

    Right now he is level 48 and his stats are

    Adament

    Hp 239
    Attack 204
    Defense 113
    Special Attack 92
    Special Defense 80
    Speed 117

    So again without challenging someone to see what his stats are at 100 how do i go about in doing this ? Do i just take what he has and double it since he pretty much level 50 ? How does this work ? I dont see how i maxed his 510 points out cuss i didnt put many ev's in maybe 40 ? Maybe i should use a berry to reduce his special attack maybe i have ev's in there from leveling or something
     
    what there are berry's that reduce your EV count from sp attck, etc?
    if so please let me know what these are?
     
    Yea if you put ev's in the wrong stats you can feed it certain berries that take 1 of the base stat down. I just fed him 3 hondew berries and his special attack went down 3 but i couldnt lower it anymore so i guess i had 30 ev's in special attack. I had 20 in special defense or 2 stat point's. Im gonna feed him berries for his defense also and see whats in there


    To find the level 100 stats do i simply just level him up and take those numbers he gains and multiply it by the amount of levels he needs to go up then add that number with what what i have ? If so then his speed will only be 279 i have no hindering nature for his speed so it should be 299 maybe im doing something wrong here
     
    Ah Easy way to do is to Just do an IV battle also here is a berry list :shocked:

    Pomeg-Lowers 10HP EVs
    Kelpsy-Lowers 10 Attack EVs
    Qualot-Lowers 10 Def EVs
    Tamato-Lowers 10 Speed EVs
    Hondew-Lowers 10 Special Attack EVs
    Grepa-Lower 10 Special Def EVs
     
    either check on wifi battle or go to pokemon.marriland.com and go on the pokedex.. there's section that shows you what the stats look like with the Evs put in and a range of what the IVs could be... thusly showing your potentail lvl 100 stats.
     
    whats an IV battle ? Level 100 battle and just check a summary on him ?

    Oh btw aparently my special def had 20 ev's, special attack had 30, and my def i ran outa berry's but i used 5 so it had 50. Total of 100 ev's taken up, i gatta plant more berries to see if my defense has more ev's or not.

    How do you guys think i should spread the points out ? Like i had it ? HP/SPEED/ATTACK ?

    His spec def sucks, and his def is mid range so i wanted to max hi HP as much as i could to sorta even out the crappy spec def, on top of putting leftovers and a enigma berry on him. He isnt ment to last forever as his ability shows i just want him for a basicly 1 hit ko pokemon with an attack based move and if he can last 2 turns with the HP/berry/leftovers then all the better for me
     
    Well to tell you the truth you should'nt add any EVs into speed for Slaking since his Truant ability won't help just pump up his attack and HP
     
    Well can any of you do this IV battle so i can check his iv's out ?

    Hmm they seem really low..

    488 HP

    421 ATK

    231 DEF

    189 SP ATK

    163 SP DEF

    231 SPEED


    Only HP is where i want it, i could improve by 10 more hp but its almost maxed. His attack and speed are really low same with his def and special def.

    I thought without EV's they should be around what the website is saying

    Basicly it is saying my HP/atk/speed are trained but the rest are "WILD" stats im confused. Does this "WILD" on Pokemon.marriland mean the max a stat can go if you didnt touch it in EV's ?

    I thought say since my nature makes my speed neutral it should be around 270-290 so serubii says. Maybe im just confused from serubii.


    Cuss going off serubii its like my stats are pretty much 100+ below what i thought they would be

    Well I guess i know why its cuss my IV's were low to start with i guess.

    Going off the berries i fed him i lowerd his Speed by 6 points before i ran outa berries, his def by 5 before i ran out, his special def by 2, and hsi attack by 3.

    So the EV's i think are spread out like this

    190 HP
    150 Attack
    30 Spec attacl
    20 special def
    60 ? 70 speed maybe more
    50 ? 60 def im not sure

    Since i ran outa berries for 2 stats i just played around

    Its saying my IV's are

    HP 31
    Atk 21
    def 14
    spd 23
    sp atk 9

    MMM could his IV's really be that low ? Uhg this is all so confusing. Screw it lol

    if this goes in strat and move sets lol then um why is the EV training thread in that section..
     
    its abotu WHERE to ev train i beleive, and already this Pokemon is kind of screwed unless you have an abundance of the berries, is the Slaking female? Gvie it a Everstone you'll have the right natures out the WAZOOH!
