EV Training?

    My question is, when you EV train do you have to keep taking down the same pokemon as you train to get the points for the stat that pokemon gives you?
     
    that's the deal

    ex, if you want speed ev's, just fight endless golbat as each one gives you +2 ev's for that stat.
