Game Help: event Pokemon and ROMs?

    my 2DS is hacked and I'm wondering if I can still receive/download the new/recent event Genesect via Mystery Gift in XY/ORAS ROMs/ROMHacks

    that's all I want to know, really... I used to have to genuine legit cartridges of X, and OR and AS but I had to part with 'em since I needed the money and such... resorted to ROMs/ROM Hacks

    furthermore.. I think they'll get marked as "hacked" Pokemon or something of that sort/nature in vanilla/normal XY/ORAS ROMs I think? does anyone know?
     
    I guess there's only one way to find out for sure... try it
