Event pokemon

There are a lot of event pokemon for each game and I am wondering if theres any way for the people who did not start playing a game at release to get the event pokemon?

If you look at event history for all generations youll see that they have repeatadly given people the chance to get missed pokemon. Last years was the best one though as they gave you the option of getting all major event pokemon in the entire series.

Just wait, theyll do them again in some form or other but trading and waiting may be in order.

There will always be an event in the future for legendary Pokemon, and they tend to do a second chance event as well. As for special event Pokemon, like a special Pikachu for example, you're a lot more unlikely to be able to get that again. Your best bet is to check Serebii on a regular basis tbh.
