Can Pokemon Ranch serve as a means to check Event Pokemon as legitimate? I've transferred some events I recieved myself and they had a silverish shine or sparkle. However, there are others that are unaffected when transferred. Here are the events that I have recieved myself:

    ALAMOS Darkrai: Sparkle
    Gamestop Deoxys: Sparkle
    TRU Manaphy: Sparkle
    WISHMKR Jirachi: No Sparkle
    MATTLE Ho Oh: No Sparkle
    XD Lugia: Sparkle

And there are others off of GTS and Trades that have the same effect:
    Mack Pikachu: Sparkle
    11th Regigigas: Sparkle
    Negai Boshi Jirachi: No Sparkle
    40707 Jirachi: No Sparkle
    50707 Jirachi: No Sparkle
    60707 Jirachi: No Sparkle
    07077 Jirachi: Sparkle
    B-Day Charmander: Sparkle
All of the Saikyou Events: Sparkle
    Ageto Celebi: No Sparkle
    Mitsurin Celebi: No Sparkle
    Festa Electabuzz and Magmar: Sparkle
10JAHRE Latios and Latias: No Sparkle
    Golgo Octillery: Sparkle
    Eigakan Darkrai: Sparkle
Cherish Ball Whiscash and Tropius: Sparkle

Also I recently discovered through Ranch that my 10 ANIV Celebi was hacked (from GTS). In the parade mode, when Celebi's name came up, it said "Celebi (Celebi)" meaning it was nicknamed. So I was wondering if anyone has seen this occurance in their event pokemon in Pokemon Ranch or if they have an event thats status (sparkle or no sparkle) is contrary to the info posted above.

whenever i see the shine i think that means the pokemon is at lv 100 i have noticed it on all of my lv 100 pokemon. As for checking legitimacy i dont think it does that, because i doubt they would put a bad egg on a wii channel it's technically not even a game.

The sparkle on Lv. 100 pokemon is more of a Goldish shine. The sparkle on event pokemon (not Lv. 100) is a Silverish shine. If you've unlocked Haylee Phione or Mew, that would be a good example to look at the shine i'm talking about. My concern is that legit events shine while illegit events don't shine, not necessarily turn into bad eggs.

you are both wrong, when you have a pokemon "focused" It sparkles to let you know that you are focused on that certain pokemon,

While it is true that you have to be focused in to see the sparkle of a pokemon, it does not mean you are focused in on them. If you look at my list above, it shows which event pokemon do sparkle when focused and which do not.

Also as a side note, Shiny Pokemon do not sparkle unless like other pokemon, they are Lv. 100.

I have ALOT of lvl. 100's and ALOT of event pokemon and none of them sparkle unless im focused on them. Maybe cuz some of em are hacked.... but if it is legit, it might sparkle.
