    Alright, So has anybody else had as bad of luck as me?

    I have a porygon Z that usually helps me out in alot of battles. Sometimes if the other pokemon survives tri attack, It ends up getting frozen. I often go "AW Sweet! I got this in the bag!" However RIGHT after I freeze it, It thaws out and attacks me on the same turn.

    I thought the chance of thawing out was 10%, This happens to me all the time, And they aren't even fire pokemon, Heck, I froze a typhlosion once and it never thawed out, yet every other pokemon I freeze thaws out the second is frozen.

    Oh yeah, When I get frozen, I always thaw out the first turn also. Is there something wrong or do I just have the best AND worst luck ever?

    Try teaching your Porygon to get colder.

    Maybe your tri-attack froze it but then the fire part of it thawed it out again.

    *puts Porygon Z in a freezer* k. What next?

    It happens to me a fair few times. Even if they're not a fire-type though, if they're about to use a fire type attack, it thaws them out.

    In the battle frontier, and this is all a bit hazy now, but:
    My Buizel uses Waterfall, Mudkip gets down to red.
    Mudkip uses water pulse, Buizel gets confused.
    Buizel hurts itself three times in a row while Mudkip slowly pummels it down, the last one being a critical hit.

    And that's how my Buizel lost to a Mudkip. XDDD;

    I has a theory about freezing. It's probably wrong, but holds true from what I've seen. It seems that you have a higher chance of thawing out the first turn, but with each consecutive turn the chance of thawing out gets smaller and smaller. Meh, that's what I think, at least.

    To be on topic: I actually haven't been the victom of much noticable hax. Obviously, there are times when I get pretty bad luck, but nothing too bad so far.

    sadly its all down to chance, try wearing a four-leaf clover when you play or have a lucky horse shoe close by, it might increase your luck :D

    It's all about luck when it comes to thawing, the last time I froze someone was in the 2nd generation era, thats how unlucky I am

    Thats the thing though :p I'm really lucky when it comes to freezing pokemon. It's happened to me a ton of times, However they always thaw out 1 turn later backfireing my good luck.
