2nd Gen Evolution Stone Question

Were do you find those stones that help evolve yo Pokemon?
Like Thunderstone, Waterstone, Firestone, etc?

In G/S/C, as pickup items or from Bill's dad north of Cerulean. In Crystal, certain phone numbers will also sometimes give you stones.

In RBY, Celadon Dept Store.

Moon Stone can ONLY be found as a pickup.

You can also get a Sun Stone by winning the Bug-Catching Contest. Sun Stone evolves Gloom into Bellosom, and Sunkern into Sunflora I think.

big smoothin,did u double post or some1 just delete their msg?pls edit ur post next time ^^.....by the way,in order to get those evolution stone except sunstone(win in bug competition),moon stone(pick up),others evolution u can get from bill's dad,hes in kanto....later he wil ask u to show him certain pokemon,den after u show him,he wil give u 1 stone per pokemon u show(for example:u wil wan u to show pichu for thunder stone)

Yeah, I double posted but I ain't never read the rules. I didn't know u had this rule. Anyway, do you gotta catch those Pokemon?

They are mostly in caves. I can't tell you exactly where they are, but I don't believe they're anywhere else.
