5th Gen Expansion Packs

    What would happen if there was expansion packs?! You could download them off the internet like Ranger Net...no wait. Those are events. You could buy cartridges and put them into your DS. The DS would track down the save file of Pokemon B/W and add the expansion to it...or not. How would expansions be added? And what expansions would you like to see?
     
    Holy fizzle sticks. I would love expansion pack that goes into the Gameboy slot of the DS.

    Must have - moar PokeBoxes!!! : D

    Or it could be downloadable on the DS though Mystery Gift. That's how I got my Shaymin. Or through Gamestop events. : )
     
    Expansion packs barely work for computer games, there's no point to them for a DS game. Any "expansions" that people would like to see could well just work in the game from the start. I'm not spending extra money to add extra bits they forgot to my game.

    And there's already an "expansion pack". It's called the third game.
     
    @GoldvsRed. At the top post, it tells you that you could think of a way. Anyways, I was thinking about a legendary expansion pack. With pokemon like Mew, or Mewtwo, or new legendaries!
     
    I'm actually kind of with Ninja Caterpie on this one... The third version will address any complaints made about the first two, anyways.

    If you don't want anything to do with expansions, leave this thread alone! I just thought of something else: a Pokeathalon expansion with more events or more clothes for the contests.
     
    I'm simply pointing out that expansions aren't the way Pokémon works. Any "extras" they might have thought up get added to the third game.
     
    Yeah, if you're going to make a thread, you're going to have to expect some people who don't agree with you. We're stating our reasons as to why expansion packs wouldn't be a very successful idea, we're not just saying "lol expanshen pax r stuipd!1111!!!!!11!," for that would be trolling.
     
    Expansion packs would not work, theyr not gonna expect people to 30 different things for 5 bucks each, i dont think they wanna end up like The Sims!
