2nd Gen Fact: Shinies did not start in Gold/Silver/Crystal.

People reckon that the shiny system started in Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal but it did not because it started in Pokémon Stadium because remember when you nicknamed your Pokémon and used the in Pokémon Stadium and they had different colors to the rentals there classed as shinies aswell.

What is you opinion on this?

A "shiny Pokémon" is defined as a differently-colored Pokémon that is extremely rare.

A "differently-colored Pokémon" is defined as a Pokémon who simply has different colors, usually caused by a nickname and bad programming.

It's that simple.

Fact: Shiny Pokémon made their first appearance in Pokémon Gold Version and Pokémon Silver Version.

lol. It's not bad programming but just an Easter Egg in Pokemon Stadium. I mean, they added that as something fun to discover. But it doesn't sparkle like when you release it in Pokemon Stadium 2.

I think that the ones in stadium don't really count, considering how easy they are to get.
