[Scripting Question] Failed loading RGSS Linker

    RGSS Linker just won't load, I don't know what to do. I followed all the instructions on the forum and nothings worked. Forum hasn't been active in a long time so figured I'd post here.
     
    I encountered this issue today and bumped into this thread while troubleshooting. Turns out that as of v19, RGSS is no longer an option which causes RGSS Linker not to load. Essentials now uses mkxp-z which can do pretty much anything RGSS could do with FmodEx. If you're on v19, you can delete the scripts and the dll files needed by the FmodEx extension.

    Essentials seems like it handles special audio files, looping audio, and so on out of the box as a result. Might be worth taking a look at the changelog for v19 to see if what you want to do is possible without any extra modification.
