Favorite battle system?

    What was your favorite battle system from any of the pokemon games? :0 (RBY, GSC, RSE, FRLG, DPPt, BW)
    My favorite was RSE, because it just felt like the perfect blend of strategy and having powerful pokemon. i.e. even if the opposing trainer's pokemon were stronger you could still win with strategy, and vice-versa.
    My favorite gen is BW though, because the story is just so much more unique then the others and I really like the sprites.
     
    ...Huh? The battle system...never really changed? There are mechanics that changed, like the addition of natures, the Special split, the EV/IV revamp, etc. But the system has generally been the same. So idk what you mean by which system is best. :/ Or do you mean which competitive era was best? And storyline doesn't have much to do with the battle system or anything. idk. This is kind of a jumbled mess so I'm gonna lock this. If you want, feel free to PM me so we can straighten this out, cause I'm just not really understanding the question here. Perhaps you worded it wrong or something, idk.
